Clare is an artist and writer from the back deserts of Oregon. Her love of nature, history, humanity, myths,  and curiosities fuels her projects. Most notably, her love of Antarctic history inspired the adventure series, Antrica. Her other book titles include The Wayward Stars, Last Stop, and This Artbook Sucks (But will make you a better artist).

Traditionally trained in oil painting and drawing, Clare revels in bringing classical elements to comics and animation. 

Clare says hello from her cave in the desert, peaking out time to time shroud in cobwebs and bones, telling those who listen what she found there (but maybe shouldn't have).
